James Maloney

President

James Maloney, President,  is a veteran in the telecommunications and technology industry with over three decades of leadership experience. James has a proven track record of successfully leading digital and business transformations to drive growth and market expansion. He has held a number of key leadership positions in sales and operations across several successful organizations. James’s unique ability to predict changing market conditions and rapidly adapt organizations have been cornerstones to his successful career.

Before joining Telesystem, James founded and led DSCI, where he built a carrier-grade network and transformed the business first into a facilities-based CLEC, and later into a national Unified Communications as a Service provider. James led the sale of DSCI to TPX in and remained with TPX to lead the eastern US. His success continued at CloudCall, where he served as the CRO and acting COO, leading the division through a significant cultural transformation and playing a key role in the successful sale of the company.

Denton Parson

Executive Vice President, COO

Denton Parson serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Telesystem, where he leads the company's back-office operations, including Customer Support, Service Delivery, Business Analytics, and Project Management. With a distinguished career spanning 28 years at Telesystem, Denton was a founding member of the original team that launched the business.

After a successful decade in Product Development at Buckeye Broadband, Telesystem's sister company, Denton returned to Telesystem to spearhead its operational transformation. Under his leadership, Telesystem evolved from a facilities-based regional CLEC to a national managed service provider.

Denton's career began at AT&T, which later became Lucent Technologies, before he joined Telesystem as part of the CLEC start-up team. His extensive experience and visionary leadership continue to drive Telesystem's growth and success.

Bruce Wirt

Executive Vice President, CRO

Bruce Wirt has been the Chief Revenue Officer at Telesystem since 2018.  Bruce's primary focus is on developing the company’s brand identity, driving the company's go-to-market strategy, and ultimately driving all revenue generating activities. Under Bruce’s leadership, Telesystem’s brand recognition and channel sales revenue has seen exponential growth, and the organization has seen nearly 50% sales growth for multiple consecutive years.

Bruce's strategic initiatives have emphasized the organization's core value proposition and associated tagline—IT's About Trust— and have been instrumental in strengthening Telesystem's brand awareness.  Under Bruce’s leadership, Telesystem also created the #HackersSuck tagline and associated apparel and event series, which has had a tremendous impact on generating new sales opportunities.

Prior to joining Telesystem, Bruce has held various senior leadership positions in his near 25 year technology career. Bruce has built two nationwide brands and led organizations in the $10s of millions in revenue growth. Additionally Bruce has amassed a coaching tree of technology industry superstars. Bruce prides himself as a champion of a diverse workforce and has worked hard behind the scenes for compensation equality. Bruce centers his leadership philosophy around his ‘4 P’s’ of Purpose, Passion, Perseverance, and Positivity; he has those principles woven into the hiring and development initiatives for the teams under his care. Bruce is also a dynamic keynote speaker and been recognized with leadership awards including Channel Futures Leaders list in 2022  and CRN’s Top Channel Chiefs in 2022 and 2024. 

Mike Staten

Chief Financial Officer

Mike Staten serves as Chief Financial Officer at Telesystem, where he leads our financial strategy and operations with a focus on transparency, and long-term growth. Mike's distinguished career with Telesystem began in 2008. Since stepping into his current role in 2024, he has guided our financial planning, budgeting, and reporting efforts from our Northwood, Ohio headquarters.

With over eight years of prior experience as Controller, Mike brings deep expertise in financial analysis, audit oversight, and operational forecasting. He is passionate about building strong finance teams, streamlining processes, and equipping departments with the financial insights they need to make smart, data-driven decisions.

Mike is known for being a collaborative leader and mentor who’s committed to helping others grow in their careers.

Robert Altman

Chief Transformation Officer

Robert Altman serves as the Chief Transformation Officer and promotes a culture of continuous improvement, transparent governance, and disciplined program delivery.  With over two decades of leadership experience in the telecommunications and SaaS industries, Rob leverages his expertise to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that promote operational excellence, foster business growth, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Before joining Telesystem in 2024, Rob held senior executive roles at CloudCall and TPx Communications where he spearheaded strategic transformations and scaled operations. He has built a reputation for turning complex challenges into meaningful results; and is passionate about aligning people, process, and technology to create lasting value for employees, customers, and stakeholders.  

Rob holds an MBA from University of New Hampshire and a BBA from Florida Atlantic University.
