Subject: Action Required: Manual Update for MaX UC Desktop (Windows)


Dear MaXUC Customer,

On August 31, 2025, an important update will be released for MaX UC Desktop (Windows). Unlike regular updates, this one cannot be installed automatically and requires a manual update.

Who is affected?
This issue affects Windows users running version 3.21.24 or earlier. When version 3.21.25+ becomes available, you will see an “Update failed” error in the app. MaX UC will continue running on your current version until you complete the manual update.

What you need to do:

  • Download the new installer directly from the MaX UC app (starting August 31, 2025).
  • Quit MaX UC completely before installing.
  • Run the downloaded installer to complete the update.

This is a one-time manual update—after this step, future updates will work automatically.
